McGinn Security employees are certified under the Security Officer Selection and Training Curriculum developed by ASIS (American Society for Industrial Security) International.

Security Officer Training Series by PSTN (Professional Security Training Network) – consists of audio-visual modules followed by testing Series covers:

2. Human and Public Relations
3. Report Writing
4. Communications
5. Patrol and Fixed Posts
6. Physical Security and Crime Prevention
7. Fire Protection and Life Safety
8. Criminal Law and Criminal Liability
9. Ethics, Deportment and Professional Conduct
10. Emergency Situations

On-Site Training

Security officers will be trained under the directives of Owner and the McGinn Management in the following areas.

• Physical Layout and Operations
• Security and Communication Systems
• Fire and Protection Systems

McGinn officers train in specific locations under the direction of a McGinn supervisor. The security officer will be crossed trained and will receive on the job training at all posts assignments. The officer will be monitored until they are qualified and Knowledgeable at each post. Our security officers present a firm but professional image while maintaining a friendly and courteous manner with visitors and staff.
